Set of 3 Carrizo citrange trees - Citrus carrizo - Winter hardy - H40cm (16 inches) - 9cm (3.5 inch) pot.

Looking for exceptionally hardy, ornamental, and functional citrus plants? This set of three Carrizo Citrange specimens brings excitement and flavor to your garden. This vigorous hybrid combines the cold hardiness of the Poncirus with the vigor of the sweet orange. Why choose the Carrizo Citrange? Exceptionally hardy down to –15°C in shelter – unique for citrus Fast-growing, vigorous tree with sturdy, thorny branches and glossy green foliage Abundant flowering and fruiting from a young age – ideal for ornamental purposes and harvest Versatile: magnificent as a solitary plant, in an orchard, privacy hedge, or as a base rootstock for other citrus varieties The tree blooms profusely in spring with fragrant white flowers. From October to January, the fruit appears: juicy, light yellow to dark yellow fruits with thin skin, many seeds, and a sour/bitter, citrusy flavor – perfect for jam, marmalade, or culinary dishes requiring fresh notes. Growth & Use The Carrizo Citrange thrives in a sunny spot in well-draining, non-calcareous soil. It also grows in a pot in almost any soil type or in a limited garden space. Watering is essential during hot and dry periods. Feed the plant in spring and summer with citrus-related fertilizer.
