- Helps prevent voltage imbalance in battery packs as cycle life increases and capacity loss becomes irregular, protecting overall pack health. - Design note: reserve space for the Sleep switch. - Balancing current range: 0 A to 5.5 A. If the voltage difference is 0.1 V, the balancing current is 1.0 A. The voltage difference is proportional to the balancing current; the more balanced the cells, the lower the current. - Balancing voltage accuracy: within 5 mV. - Standby current: less than 0.1 mA. - Use scenarios: - For multi cell battery packs in portable tools, e bikes, or energy storage to maintain cell balance during charging cycles. - In solar or off grid systems with long idle periods to minimize voltage drift and extend pack life. - In devices with Sleep mode where space for the Sleep switch is reserved, ensuring safe and fast resume operation.
