This door latch is designed for wooden or metal doors that swing in and out, using a gravity latch to help secure pets, children, and plants by keeping unwanted animals out of your yard. This heavy-duty latch is constructed from heavy-gauge steel with a matte black powder coat finish, providing rust resistance and durability for both indoor and outdoor use. The fence latch features a quick-lock system that operates smoothly with just a finger or thumb, requiring no cables. The locking bar can be mounted on the left or right side. The kit includes all necessary hardware, such as 6 black steel screws, for easy installation. The 4.7-inch lever enables self-closing operation and is compatible with various exterior side gates, regardless of size, including wood, metal, wrought iron, vinyl, and PVC. Use this self-locking gate latch on decorative gates in gardens, patios, fences, privacy enclosures, or chicken coop doors.
