Description

This instrument can check for broken wires, find shorted wires, identify and trace wires without damaging the insulation. This instrument contains a transmitter and a receiver. The curved receiving probe can better detect cables in cluttered and cramped environments. Depending on the circuit characteristics and sensitivity setting, the probe can pick up the signal from the cable within a certain range, and the receiver's probe head is placed above or below the vertical (90 degrees) of the cable during detection. 1. It can only be used for DC voltage and must not be connected to DC voltage above 42 volts in any environment 2. Cannot be used for AC voltage 3. Cannot be used on circuits directly or indirectly connected to AC power cords or an AC power source 4. Cannot be used with ignition circuits and components 5. Before using this tool to check vehicle wiring, disconnect any components or subsystems that are sensitive to voltage or current pulses, such as: B. Airbags, electronic control modules, etc. 6. When disconnecting any part or subsystem of the vehicle, the vehicle's maintenance instructions and the requirements of the vehicle's maintenance manual must be followed.
