Additionally, since the lens end is extended, you also get extra protection against accidental impacts. For backlit, sidelit, or flash photography, it prevents non-image-forming light from entering and avoids glare. Made of high-quality ABS plastic, the reversible design allows you to mount the hood backwards for compact storage.
