Add that factor to any quilt by creating a scalloped border in three sizes. Adjust scallops to fit the sides of any item. Add that factor to any quilt by creating a scalloped border. The tool includes three sizes of scallops and a corner unit. The small size is Perfect for borders 2 to 5 inches wide. Medium scallops fit a 4- to 8-inch border. Large scallops fit on a rim up to 12 inches long. Since you're using paper templates to create this design, you can separate or overlap them as needed to fit any length of border. Then use this tool to trim the curves and bind using offset binding. The ruler slides easily over the fabric until pressure is applied. Our special clamps then hold the fabric in place while cutting, eliminating slippage and miscuts!
