Parallel Ruler for Marine Navigation Chart Plotting, 17 Inch Clear Scale

Parallel Ruler for Marine Navigation This 17 inch parallel ruler is designed for chart work, route planning and maritime navigation training. Its clear scale and solid arm construction make it a dependable tool for anyone serious about navigation at sea. The ruler provides stability and accuracy when measuring distances and angles directly on charts, helping you plot courses with confidence. Precision and Durability The solid arm construction gives the ruler lasting rigidity, while the transparent body keeps the scale easy to read against chart details. This combination supports steady, accurate measurement during extended use, whether you are working through a training exercise or planning a passage in earnest. Practical Use on Charts The parallel action allows you to transfer bearings and angles across the chart without losing alignment, which is essential for plotting a reliable course. Its 17 inch length suits standard chart tables, and the clear markings make reading distances straightforward. This is a practical instrument for navigators who need consistent performance from their plotting tools.
