Higher DC voltage means up to 11 times less current, which is then passed through the cable with less loss. This PoE to 5-volt converter allows you to power the Pi up to 328 feet or 100 meters from the power source. Connection pins are available for GPIO and serial use. There is space for a large heatsink, the power supply is fully regulated and stable, and the noise is much lower than that of the Raspberry Pi. 12.5 to 15 watts of power is more than enough for your application and higher than 802.3af. You can connect any HDMI-compatible or USB or RJ45 display to the power supply without any risk, keeping in mind that 300 mA will flow through that connection.
