The foot is notched 1/4" in front of and behind the needle center as a reference for starting, stopping, and pivoting. 1/4 Inch Quilting Foot Facilitates precise seam alignment for patchwork and quilting. The clear design improves visibility and accuracy while sewing, helping to prevent swerving by guiding the fabric along the included edge guide. Top-Load Border Guide Foot Aids in matching border designs with ease. The red guide marks provide the key reference: two vertical red line sets are calibrated for even row spacing, the horizontal red line aligns with the needle drop to start each row, and the small red mark indicates the design center for aligning the first row.
