Description

ELV is a mechanical failure that can occur in the steering column lock. This condition is independent of any other vehicle fault. If the ELV system malfunctions, the vehicle may not start even with a working key, as the steering column lock cannot be activated. In such cases, a new ELV steering column lock must be installed and programmed to the vehicle.
