These valves provide dual safety protection by automatically releasing excess temperature and pressure, helping to prevent system damage and ensure safe operation. Safety relief valves are commonly used to regulate pressure in heating systems, domestic hot water tanks, and general water systems. When the system pressure reaches the calibrated level, the valve opens to release pressure to the atmosphere, protecting system components from overpressure conditions.
