1. After the CDI is powered on, the digital display shows the ignition curve selected before the last shutdown. 2. Pressing the button cycles through ignition curves 0–9. Curve 0 disables ignition and limits engine speed to 6000 rpm. Curve 1 represents the stock ignition timing. Curves 1–9 offer unlimited speed and allow fine-tuning to match engine performance requirements. 3. The selected ignition curve is retained in memory and remains displayed after power-off. 4. Ignition curve 1 provides a relatively conservative ignition timing, while curve 9 provides more advanced timing. Each step between curves adjusts the ignition angle by approximately 1–2 degrees. 5. Select the appropriate ignition curve based on riding conditions, terrain, and performance needs.
