2-Wire PT1000 Temp Sensor -50+180C

This 2-wire PT1000 temperature sensor features a 45 mm long × 5 mm diameter metal probe with full silicone insulation and a total cable length of 1.5 metres. It operates reliably across an extended range of -50°C to +180°C, making it suitable for both cryogenic monitoring and high-heat industrial processes. The sensing element follows the standard PT1000 resistance curve (1000 Ω at 0°C), delivering predictable, linear output that integrates smoothly with standard RTD-input instrumentation. The physical build combines a corrosion-resistant metal probe tip (typically stainless steel or Inconel) with a durable plastic connector housing and flexible silicone-jacketed cable. No batteries or electronics are included — it is a passive, two-terminal resistive device requiring excitation current from the connected controller. Common applications across UK and EU markets include temperature feedback in solar thermal collectors, anti-freeze monitoring in heat pump buffer tanks, overheat protection in commercial kitchen equipment, and process temperature verification in food-grade dosing systems — all benefiting from the long-term stability and minimal ageing effects of platinum RTD technology.
