45-Degree Plastic Welding Smoothing Tips

Set of 10 metal smoothing heads engineered for thermal plastic welding operations. Each features a fixed 45-degree elbow bend and a simple open-buckle mounting mechanism. Constructed from solid metal with natural silver finish — no plating or coating applied. Physical dimensions may vary within ±1–3 cm due to production tolerances, but this has no functional impact on fit or performance. Lightweight design supports dexterity and comfort during manual welding tasks. The 45° configuration is purpose-built for contour-following tasks: it enables continuous contact along radiused edges, such as those on car fenders or PP drum interiors, where perpendicular tips lift off or dig in. The buckle interface allows intuitive, repeatable attachment across different tool models — verified with common handheld welding pens and hot-air systems used in UK and EU repair facilities. Thermal conductivity supports efficient energy transfer into PP substrates, enabling clean, low-splatter weld finishing. Used successfully in field and benchtop repairs of polypropylene-based items including industrial storage barrels, automotive exterior components (bumpers, light housings, fenders), motorcycle fairings, plumbing pipes, and major appliance parts — all demanding smooth, structurally sound weld zones.
