Architectural-Grade Steel Screen Roll

Fabricated from cold-drawn 304 stainless steel wire, this insect screen combines architectural durability with functional precision. Mechanical specifications include ultimate tensile strength ≥ 520 MPa and robust elongation resilience — ensuring reliable performance under UK weather extremes and frequent operation. Rolls are supplied in three practical dimensions aligned to UK construction norms: 91 cm × 3 m (ideal for sash and small casement windows), 122 cm × 7.6 m (suited to standard double-glazed units and French doors), and 152 cm × 12.2 m (designed for bi-fold, sliding, and large glazed walls). The fine mesh pattern enables full visual transparency and minimal solar gain interference. Installation uses standard UK-compatible spline tools and techniques — no proprietary components, solvents or power tools needed. Cleaning is infrequent and effortless: mild detergent and soft brush suffice, and the surface actively discourages mould or moss adherence due to its non-hygroscopic nature. Preferred by conservation architects and local authority retrofit teams across England, Scotland and Wales for projects requiring both regulatory compliance and enduring aesthetic integrity.
