Autism Visual Routine Chart 70 Cards

This visual routine chart is 45 cm wide × 30 cm tall (17.7 × 11.8 inches) and built from robust polyester fabric with reinforced corners and smooth-cut edges. Its dual-use design allows secure hanging via four corrosion-resistant grommets (top and bottom pairs) or stable tabletop use without additional stands. Includes 70 durable, double-sided cards (6 × 6 cm), each showing an everyday activity — e.g., 'make bed', 'feed pet', 'say please' — illustrated with friendly, uncluttered artwork and labelled in clear English type. Accompanying accessories: 72 self-adhesive Velcro dots (36 loop + 36 hook), reusable dot stickers, soft felt strips, and a zip-closed PVC storage bag sized to hold all cards flat and protected. Developed with input from UK-based SEN practitioners, the chart supports visual processing strengths common in autistic children, reducing reliance on verbal instructions and easing transitions between activities. The physical act of moving cards provides proprioceptive feedback, while storing completed tasks in the bag delivers satisfying closure — supporting emotional regulation and building confidence in independent task management. Also used successfully in EYFS classrooms to teach sequencing, vocabulary and social expectations. All materials meet UK toy safety standards (EN71). Colours are carefully selected for high visual distinction without sensory overload. No batteries, screens or subscriptions — just consistent, low-tech, evidence-informed support.
