C Key Bamboo Flute Easy Playability

Designed specifically for adult beginners and educators, this C-key flute uses 4-year-aged bitter bamboo selected for straight grain and uniform wall thickness. Dimensions reflect ergonomic research: total length 59 cm, inner bore diameter 1.9 cm, and tone hole diameters graduated from 0.8 cm (top) to 1.2 cm (bottom) for balanced resistance. The instrument is finished with a thin, breathable protective film that maintains resonance while resisting fingerprints and condensation marks. Each unit is tested for response across all registers, with special attention to low-register stability and high-register clarity — two common pain points for new players. Tuning stability is confirmed under variable breath pressure (40–100 kPa), simulating real-world playing conditions rather than static lab measurements. Proven effective in diverse UK settings: mainstream schools integrating world music units, adult returner courses hosted by local arts councils, and intergenerational folk workshops where accessibility, visual appeal, and acoustic compatibility with fiddles or guitars are essential requirements.
