Chrome-Finished ABS Tub Diverter

Crafted from engineered ABS plastic and coated with multi-layer chrome plating, this tub spout provides lasting aesthetics and functional reliability in typical UK bathroom conditions. Overall dimensions: ~16.5 cm L × 4.5 cm W × 5 cm H; net weight: 180 g. It installs via slip-on method onto standard 1/2-inch (15 mm OD) copper supply pipes — the dominant specification across UK housing stock. Included hardware comprises a custom-fit adapter sleeve, stainless mounting screw, and a dedicated 2.5 mm hex wrench. Diverter operation relies on vertical lift of a recessed rod located at the spout’s upper rear — activating an internal valve that blocks the spout aperture and redirects flow upward to the shower arm or hose. The action is tactile and repeatable, with no springs or consumable parts subject to fatigue. Designed for compatibility with common UK dual-output mixer valves, it serves as a direct replacement for worn or non-diverting spouts — supporting both bath filling and shower use from a single inlet, without altering existing pipework or requiring professional certification under Building Regulations.
