Compact Foldable Yarn Spindle Box

Folds to 15.2 cm × 15.2 cm × 3.8 cm; net weight approx. 280 g. Built from sustainably harvested hardwood with precision-machined brass threading at the centre for secure rod attachment. Two metal spindle rods are included and fit snugly into custom-shaped grooves when folded. Four embedded magnets ensure rapid, positive closure. A recessed compartment beneath a sliding clear cover stores stitch markers and tapestry needles — sized to hold up to six standard markers or three medium-length needles. The dual-spindle design supports seamless transitions between yarns: each rod spins independently, minimising drag and twist buildup. When unfolded, the unit forms a rigid, vibration-dampening base that stays put on laminate, fabric or textured surfaces. When folded, its squared geometry stacks neatly with other crafting supplies or slides into slim storage drawers — a practical solution for knitters with limited UK home workspace. Ideal for makers who knit across locations: equally functional on a cramped kitchen counter, a park bench, or a shared university study desk — where discretion, quiet operation and tidy containment matter more than decorative flair.
