Outdoor Secure Flush Closing Gate Latch

A purpose-built outdoor gate latch manufactured from solid weatherproof steel for lasting performance in exposed environments. Dimensions: 12.5 cm (L) × 5.5 cm (W) × 3.2 cm (H); approximate weight 480 g. Delivers true flush closure for tight gate-to-post alignment and minimal clearance — reducing wear and enhancing both security and appearance. Includes a permanently fixed padlock loop rated for standard UK padlocks (shackle ≤ 8 mm). Engineered for direct fit onto round tubular gate frames (32 mm / 38 mm / 42 mm OD), using corrosion-resistant U-bolt clamps with engraved vertical adjustment markers and alignment guides. Installation requires only basic tools and takes under 5 minutes per gate. The reinforced locking bar resists leverage-based attacks and maintains positive engagement under wind load or animal pressure. No moving parts beyond the main latch arm — maximising reliability and simplifying maintenance. Widely deployed across UK residential properties (safe play areas), logistics hubs (yard access control), and active livestock operations (sheep pens, calf enclosures, poultry runs) — particularly where gates experience frequent use, variable loading, or infrequent inspection.
