USB to Optical Audio Converter

Dimensions: Approx. 8.5 x 3.5 x 1.8 cm (L x W x H); Weight: Approx. 42 g; Capacity: Unidirectional USB-to-SPDIF audio conversion only; Material: PVC housing with aluminum alloy shell; Interface: USB-A male connector and Toslink optical output port. This converter serves as a streamlined interface between USB-based audio sources and optical-input audio systems. It supports standard USB Audio Class 1.0 (UAC1), enabling immediate recognition by most operating systems and game consoles without custom drivers. The optical output transmits stereo PCM data using the S/PDIF protocol, compatible with virtually all consumer and prosumer AV receivers, DACs and powered speakers featuring Toslink inputs. Built for daily reliability, the adapter uses a hybrid enclosure: a flexible PVC base absorbs vibration and impact, while the rigid aluminium upper section guards against bending force at the USB-A plug and aids passive cooling. Gold-plated internal contacts maintain low insertion loss and resist tarnishing over repeated use — contributing to consistent signal transfer across thousands of connect/disconnect cycles.
