Self-Priming Mini Centrifugal Pump

A purpose-built, no-power-required water mover for UK home and garden use. Measures 12.5 cm length × 8.3 cm width × 9.2 cm height; weighs only 0.85 kg. Core mechanism is a sealed self-priming centrifugal system—no external valves, no venting, no pre-fill steps. Operates via integrated hand crank or optional electric drill drive (standard 6–12 mm chuck). Housing made from UV-stabilised ABS plastic; rotating assembly includes stainless steel shaft and thermally stable polymer impeller for quiet, low-friction operation. Rated for continuous intermittent use—designed for daily tasks like rainwater redistribution, pond maintenance, and cleaning runoff. Inlet and outlet ports accept standard 12 mm (½ inch) garden hoses with push-fit compatibility. Tested for reliable dry-run tolerance up to 60 seconds—reducing risk of damage if accidentally started without water present. Real-world deployment includes gravity-fed irrigation top-ups, transferring water between raised beds and compost leachate collection, draining shallow conservatory floor trays, and supporting small-scale hydroponic reservoir management. All components meet EU RoHS compliance for safe contact with potable and grey water.
