Silicone Double Basin Sink Protector

This sink saddle mat is constructed from food-grade silicone and sized to accommodate standard double kitchen sinks across the UK market (approx. 45 x 20 cm / 17.7 x 7.9 in), with a weight of 280 g ensuring secure positioning without excessive rigidity. Its formulation prioritises durability, thermal tolerance, and tactile reliability. A raised, non-slip texture covers the entire top surface, delivering dependable traction whether handling wet dishes or hot pans. The open-cell perforation pattern supports rapid water evacuation and minimises residue accumulation. Tested under repeated thermal cycling, it retains structural consistency after contact with boiling water, steam, and hot cookware — no melting, curling, or permanent indentation. It functions as both a protective liner and functional divider: shielding sink enamel or stainless steel from abrasion, reducing acoustic feedback from metal-on-metal contact, and simplifying post-meal cleanup. Dishwasher-safe and stain-resistant, it recovers fully after exposure to common kitchen contaminants — including olive oil, soy sauce, and cooked starches — with no lingering discoloration or odour.
