Thermostatic Brass Mixing Valve

Solid brass construction ensures corrosion resistance and long-term reliability in humid bathroom environments. Compact DN15/DN25 size (1/2 inch BSP threads), weight approx. 0.8 kg. Compatible with standard UK domestic plumbing systems. Accepts cold water inlet at 5–29°C and hot water at 30–99°C. User-selectable output temperature range: 20–60°C, with commonly used bands at 35–55°C, 40–50°C and 30–60°C. Delivers stable outlet temperature ±2°C deviation under varying inlet pressures and flow rates. No batteries or wiring required — fully autonomous thermal regulation. Cold-water inlet remains sealed until hot water reaches minimum functional temperature; if hot water drops below set point, cold water stays closed to prevent lukewarm output. Emergency hot-water cut-off activates within 3 seconds of cold water loss when outlet temp >40°C. Working pressure range: 0.03–1.0 MPa (0.3–10 bar); best performance between 0.1–0.5 MPa (1–5 bar). For installations where cold/hot supply pressures differ by more than 0.1 MPa, a pressure-reducing valve is advised on the higher-pressure line. DN15–DN25 units have integrated check functionality; larger sizes (DN32+) require separate check valves if pressure differential exceeds 0.02 MPa.
