Weather Resistant Magnetic L Plates

Measuring 17.8 x 17.8 cm (7 x 7 inches) and constructed from 0.5mm thick magnetic material, these L plates comply fully with UK legal dimensions and visibility standards. The red ‘L’ is printed on white substrate using UV- and moisture-resistant inks, ensuring long-term legibility. Each plate weighs 85g and features full magnetic coverage across its reverse side. Intended exclusively for smooth, clean, ferromagnetic surfaces — not suitable for plastic, aluminium, stainless steel or unpainted metal. They withstand sustained rain exposure without ink bleeding, resist wind-induced flapping due to structural rigidity and magnetic grip, and show no signs of fading or cracking after repeated thermal cycling (e.g., garage-to-road transitions in winter). Installation and removal remain consistently simple regardless of ambient humidity or temperature — no adhesive softening or brittleness issues encountered with tape-based alternatives. Designed for durability in real UK conditions: from coastal salt air and urban grime to rural dust and seasonal frost — all without sacrificing ease of use, visual clarity or vehicle protection.
