Wireless Weatherproof Driveway Alarm

Transmitter dimensions: 12.5 × 6.5 × 5 cm, weight ~180 g; receiver: 13 × 7 × 3.5 cm, ~220 g; operational range up to 100 m (line-of-sight), with practical performance of 60–80 m in typical UK garden layouts featuring shrubbery or low walls; sensor uses 3 x AAA batteries, receiver uses 2 x AA batteries; IP54-rated enclosure; PIR lens with 110° horizontal detection arc; LED status light on both units; tone selection and volume control accessible via intuitive buttons on receiver front panel. The system’s alert logic includes brief transmission hold-off after each trigger — preventing rapid-fire beeping during prolonged movement — while retaining sensitivity for new entries. Tone library includes melodic, chime-style and attention-grabbing options, all locally rendered without compression artifacts. Mounting hardware supports vertical or angled orientation to optimise coverage across driveways, patios or side entrances. Used extensively by rural UK homeowners monitoring unlit lane approaches, urban residents securing basement flat entrances, and small hospitality venues (e.g., B&Bs, cafés) managing guest arrivals — particularly valued where mobile signal is weak or tenants cannot modify wiring or install smart devices.
